I've thought about this for a long time and I've finally taken the step to create my own blog. I'm intending to use it as a diary of my day. I use to faithfully write in my diary but since I've had kids my entries are getting further and further apart. I'm so much faster typing then writing, so I'm hoping this will motivate me to make entries more often. So this is mostly for me to look back on and anyone else who's interested in what the Hostettler household is up to!

Today was a typical school day. I dropped off Luke at school and ran out to the store w/ one kid! It's so much easier then fighting two! Abby is a good shopping buddy (on her own). We went to Meijer to look for new running shoes. Mine got ruined working on the driveway. (I've made my first attmept at seal coating my drive... and already decided it's something I never want to do again!) Here is a close up of how bad it is! There are so many cracks I had to use crack filler on the whole driveway! We really should have just paid someone to do it, but it was to expensive! Here is is about halfway done... look at the difference!
and here I am in my "cruddy clothes" trying to finish up the first side. My leg is fine.. I just stood up funny from working and pulled a muscle. It was better by the end of the day.
so anyways.. I went to Target, then Famous Footwear and finally Dicks Sporting goods? or something.. before I found some size 9 shoes! I can't believe how many stores didn't carry my size in the shoes I was looking at! Before that I went to the mall, Walmart, and Kohls w/ no luck. They told me I have a wide foot... and to look at Adidas or Asics.. These are the ones I settled with. They feel great!

After we got Luke from preschool I had to stay home b/c I'm still recovering from Strep Throat. The kids really look forward to storytime Tuesday nights so they were disappointed they couldn't go. They both love Miss Mary!

Rich got home late.. about 8pm.. played w/ the kids a bit and I gave Abby her special sitz bath. She's recovering from a fissure. Poor thing is having a horrible time going #2 recently. :( I tried to get her to eat prunes today, but before they touched her mouth Luke informed her they were gross. Thanks Luke! so she wouldn't try them!

Well kids are off to bed.. I am beat and need to go to bed, but there is something so nice about just being awake and hearing silence! I've got so much work to do that I'm avoiding.. I'm days behind on my Bible study for church... tomorrow night I have Adventure Club, which I have yet to prepare for. I'm not to concerned about it now.. I had my great accomplishment for the day finding shoes, washing the kitchen floor by hand, and washing the bathroom floor...(gross when you have a little boy!) and a potty trainer!

all for now...-Beth
