these are a bit out of order, I'm just not taking the time tonight to perfect them... kinda lucky to be getting them up! I should be in bed. Annie had me up 3 times.. I never got back to sleep after 3:45am!tonight we had the kids on the drive. Annie was adorable, squealing in delight to keep up with the older kids. I think that she's on the edge of being this little baby and starting to know her place in the family and joining in on the fun. 2 nights ago the kids were singing and dancing and running circles and she was doing the best she could to keep up. It was sweet.

Yesterday Annie learned to sit!! I noticed in the last few days that she was gaining strength and balancing better. I figured it would be about 2 weeks. Little did I know it would be 3 hours! The girl is doing awesome. Once you get her balanced w/ a toy in front, she sits for a long time! Luke and Abby both spilled back a lot in the beginning.

I got out lots of toys that were better for sitting babies. She really enjoyed these coins from the piggy bank
Luke was such a good big brother teaching her how to drop them in the piggy. I LOVE the interaction between the kids, older teaching younger. I never really anticipated this. I'm thinking this must be one of the things that entices families to have more kids b/c it's making me want a million kids. Luke is really good with her. Annie looks to his face a lot, I think she realizes Abby is still a little unsafe?!! or maybe the word is unpredictable. I love how Luke gets excited when he sees Annie do something new. Sharing the joy is the best!
