I've put this update off for so long! The longer I put it off the more pictures and events I have to contend with. So tonight I finally did it. whew!!! sorry it's taken so long... We have to back up all the way to Christmas!
Here are the kids all snuggled in their beds just before we woke them up. Luke woke up at 1am and walked out to the family room and fell back asleep. He was really excited and couldn't sleep! I love how each of them is holding their
blankies still!

Annie wasn't so thrilled about Christmas. At this time of her life she wants nothing to do w/ sitting still! It's all about moving since she learned to walk.

This photo was taken in Cleveland at my parents house. The cousins were all looking out the window at the deer. And the deer were looking in at the cousins!! I love it! It's a very familiar site at home.

After our holiday get-together we ventured out to the sledding hills. Everyone had a blast!

The kids had their Christmas programs as usual. Abby got to be an angel this year for preschool She was so sweet! :) She really enjoyed learning the songs.

Luke enjoyed learning his songs as well and could often be heard practicing them. I love this picture of the kids w/ their hands up praising God.

Life is crazy as always w/ 3 kids. One day I checked on Abby at room time to find that she emptied her "under the bed container" of all it's stuffed animals, climbed right in, closed the lid and laid in there playing
DS! It was so strange and scary to open the door and find her in there! Thank goodness it did not have a tight seal. Goes to show you how little kids like tight spaces. :(

Annie continues to keep me very busy opening any drawer or cabinet she can and dragging the stuff out and across the house. You'll find markers in our dishwasher.
Sippy cups all over. Cans in odd places. The girl is driving me nuts. Especially w/ her new trick playing w/ the toilet seat!
grrrrr.

Nothing can be placed too close. She'll grab everything. This day I came around the corner to
holler at the kids about spilling milk only to realize it was ME who put my very full cup of milk way too close to her reach! Thank goodness for our dog who cleaned up the mess!! :)

So that sweet little hamster we found died. It was rather sad. It was breathing very hard. Rich took it to the vet, got it
meds and it died a few days later in his hands. :( So we found this new little friend. It's called a black bear fancy hamster. It was just a baby and it's eyes opened only a few weeks before we got it. It's grown about twice it's size now. No official name, but Mommy calls it Little Bear.

Sweet little Annie, playing one of her new favorite games. Peeking around the corner of this playhouse.

I've been busying myself on weekends working on painting some animal print poles at the Mansfield children's museum. I've really enjoyed my escape of getting away for a bit but making good use of my time getting something accomplished for the museum. Painting seems almost
therapeutic to me. It's nice to focus on something besides being a mom. It gives me energy to come back and face my days!

I took Annie out in the snow for the first time last week when the kids were having all the snow days back to back. She was a little nervous about it all. I finally got her to smile. When we went inside she stood at the window and cried to go back out! So I'm glad she had fun! Isn't she adorable here? :)

I was so excited to get this picture of the 3 kids in the snow.. first ever. But Luke managed to knock Annie over right before I snapped the picture.
grrrrrr.. patience Mama! so much for a nice picture...better luck next time.

Annie's been getting a thick head of hair the last few weeks. I think she's getting more adorable by the day! :) I love this stage!

Did I really "celebrate" turning 34. Or was I just forced to just enjoy family time on that same day. We had a great day! but I'm not so thrilled about my new number.

For my birthday I asked Rich to see if our contractor could build us a
carpetball table. We gave him a few pictures to look at, told him our ideas for how we wanted it to look. We were very pleased w/ the outcome. He did a great job and got it done a few days before my birthday! It's been very addicting! and a lot of fun! Luke is old enough to really enjoy it. Abby's still working on her throw. My Mom and Dad came up and played w/ us ON my actual birthday. We toured the children's museum, had
KFC for lunch then my mom watched the
kids while Dad, Rich and I all went skiing at Snow Trails.
Carpetball is a game we learned of at family camp this past summer. Before then I had never even heard of it. You trade turns throwing pool balls back and forth down the table trying to knock your
opponents balls in to the pocket. Come over and try it! you'll be addicted too!! Plus it's a great addition to our new rec room (as long as no one busts the TV)!

Abby wanted me to wear this for my birthday crown. :)

Rare family picture!

Today I took the girls to see Sesame Street Live. They both really enjoyed themselves. Annie was so cute. Just sitting all wide eyed the first 1/2. Then she got a little wiggly, but she loved the moving lights on the ceiling and would tip her head back, look up and say
ahhhhhhh and
wooooow. It was really cute!

Annie looked so cute sitting there w/ that popcorn bowl as big as her!

All to often I get too busy w/ my housework and I have a hard time slowing down to play w/ the kids at home. (aside from our many outings!) Seems like I can use every minute to clean and I never catch up! Today Abby and I had some much needed together time. We played Old Maid, did paint by number for an hour and went to the show together.

I finally got my butt back in Stroller class. I snatched this photo off the website.I'm glad to have a group of girls to
exercise with b/c I could never do it myself. It's amazing how good I feel after working out!! Tomorrow I'm heading back to class. I've taken some time off b/c I fell down the stairs at Snow Trails and sprained my arm (according to the x-rays). It's been 2 weeks now and it's still bothering me! :( What really stinks is it's my left hand and I'm left handed... so all this carrying of Annie, cutting up food, folding laundry, shoveling, painting ect... is slowing my chance to heal up. Well hopefully I will find time to update before summer comes! take care!
