We had a great day together at home today. Luke and Abby have been BEGGING me to make Gingerbread cookies w/ them ever since they made them in preschool and they "got out of the oven and ran away" :) I didn't have all the ingredients, and I never have Rich home long enough to run to the store, so today I got brave and took all 3 to Kroger. The kids were SO well behaved. I was really proud of them! It was the best grocery trip ever I think, which gave me some hope in taking them all again. You see I LIKE having everyone contained in the cart, and it just doesn't work well w/ 3 kids now. So Abby rode the front of the cart, Annie on top inside and Luke walked. But making sure Abby doesn't jump off and that Luke doesn't walk beside me and get squished or knocked in the head by the cart is a whole other story. I was so glad that everyone kept their position today. And did I mention that I like to walk FAST?!ummmm =homemade Gingerbread Cookies are really good. I don't think I've ever made them before!?
I also worked on some more of Rich's new favorite soup.

I think we have just a few days left on the basement, Today Ben got the trim done. It still needs a final coat of paint I guess... you can see some wood showing through. The doors need to go on the cabinets to cover the gas meter and fuse box.

oh boy... you know you've been breastfeeding in front of your kids too much when your 3 yr old daughter informs her Daddy that she has small "milkies", but someday they will be REALLY BIG!
Well I'm off to bed. Annie's been waking up a LOT... last night it was 12 2:30 and 5:30... I kept her up tonight as long as I could hoping she'll sleep a longer stretch... we'll see???
