A night at the park

Last night we took the kids to the park. It was fun to be together. We saw a great sunset.

This week our church is having revival. Today was rather busy, in that we attended two back to back services in the morning then came back for the night service. Annie and I slept in between services!! 1:30-4:30!! I'm a little stressed about how Annie might handle all this time in the nursery, but I'm excited to attend and looking expectantly for what God can do, if we let Him. The kids seemed to drag their heels a little bit about missing out on their "play time" at home, but once there, they seem to enjoy it. Tonight Abby came home and told me "I love God the most, even more than my Webkinz!" It was so cute! Luke typically comes home from church excited about something that has challenged him and anxious to "Honor his Father and Mother" by obeying and helping around the house. He's also been excited about giving his money for the offering. It's exciting to watch him grow, and I'm pleased to see church rubbing off on him in a good way.

Rich and I are planning our 10th Anniversary get-away. I think we could really use some time away for just us to rekindle old times. We are considering going to Yellowstone for a week. I have such great memories of the sights we saw when my parents took me as a teenager and I'm excited to share that time with Rich. We would take Annie and leave the two bigger kids. From my research it looks like it can still be cold in June, but the crowds are not as bad and there are lots of baby animals! :) We have been so busy I'm concerned I won't have enough time to plan properly.

Another thought Rich and I both had is about our new addition. While attending church tonight I began to think about how nice it would be if we could host families who are visiting the church from out of state. The thought crept in to my mind about finishing our project, and making a nice place for visitors to stay w/ the bathroom and bedroom finished?! I think the kids would enjoy this outreach the same as me.
