Pleasant Hill Lake

Today I took the kids to Pleasant Hill Lake myself. Rich has been working long hours and we needed a little something special to pass the day by faster! Anyways, we had a BLAST! It's only $6 to get our whole car in, and I was informed that it's $3 on Wednesdays!! We stayed for 4 1/2 hours. The water is nice and shallow pretty far out, so I enjoyed kicking my heels up a bit while these 2 played in the water in their tubes and built sand castles in the "sand", which is really like a half mud, half sand mixture. but if you can see past that it's a GREAT place to get away and only 20 minutes from our house.
