My
lil' guy graduated from safety town last Thursday. We were very pleased w/ the program he went through. He had a great time and met some friends who will all be going to Kindergarten w/ him. A few kids from t-ball were in his class as well. Some of the highlights from safety town were crawling under fake smoke in the safety trailor, riding bikes around the safety town set up outside, trying on a fireman's outfit and spraying water from his hose!, climbing on the board a bus for the first time and going for a ride (and finding out it's NOT scary!) :) thank you safety town!!!! I can cross that off my list of fears!!! :) When I was younger I helped teach the safety town program at my old school, so I have enjoyed seeing what this program would be like. I think Luke had a much better program than we taught.
Here are some videos from his final day. I only uploaded the shortest videos. some of the best ones were too long. But this gives you an idea what the last day was like. They sang a TON of songs. I couldn't believe they could learn so many in 8 days!
getting his certifitcate of completion :)
Mom and Dad are traveling in Alaska! Last year they were not able to make it b/c of Dad's health issues. Unfortunately they have both been sick on this trip as well w/ a bad cold, cough and sore throat! :( I have been able to receive a few good pictures from their trip. I am quite jealous! and would love to be there w/ them!!
