Our New Swing Set

We are excited to finally have a new swing set! I thought it would never happen!!!! I'm most excited to just have one that doesn't tip over! The old one was never grounded and now that the kids are bigger I have to hold it down every time they swing. With a 3rd baby on the way, I'm desperate to have a place to send them to play w/out going nutty in the house! We found this one at Menards for a great price. compared to other stores. (that's why it's so big!) Here is the front view...We are going to purchase all green activities from other stores.. vs. the yellow or red and Rich is going to stain the tops of the forts green.and the back view. We are also going to attach the swings to the higher fort, to make them higher up, and more fun! :) Here is a little bit of the mess we've been dealing w/ this weekend. Rich thinks he's going to put this together mostly by himself! so he's been in the garage the last 2 days staining the wood. It's taking forever!! I just hope the swing set is up by October when the baby arrives!!! The kids have no clue on the time building a playground involves. They think he should have it finished in a day.

Abby was excited to join in on the staining. Look at those blue eyes!!! :)
Luke enjoyed helping Daddy as well. Saturday morning Abby had her last gymnastics for a while. We decided to take a break for July and August w/ vacation and Luke's birthday day and MONEY! for goodness sakes!!!... Also she's kinda topped off what she's capable of doing developmentally at this point. I think we'll start up again in Sept for a month, then see what happens w/ the baby coming and all.
She's just learning how to do a "bridge" ? I think that's what it's called!! but her arms are hardly long enough to get her head off the floor! The other kids in her class are 2 years older then her, there arms look so much longer to me!
Here is Abby in a class alone w/ the triplets that Luke went to school with. It's been a nice group.
