I love the resale shop!

My big accomplishment for the day was driving over to the resale shop to exchange some old Halloween outfits for a new one. While I was there, I saw this perfect bike for Abby for just $20!! She was excited to try it out when we got home, but Mommy didn't have much energy to walk up and down the drive and follow her. :( just not a good day today.. my ankles are really swollen and my foot is hurting to walk. I just feel like sitting w/ my feet up and doing nothing! I feel lucky the kids have been so well behaved recently. They have been helpful and understanding to my "condition".

Yesterday was a great day. Both kids went to school and I got to go out to breakfast w/ some friends. It's such a rare moment to get out alone! I really enjoyed myself! Abby was SO excited to tell me about her day when I picked her up. She said "Mommy, preschool was very very very very very exciting!" They taste tested Apples and made a graph of who liked what color. She said she got to go outside, "it was cold, but I got to do the SLIDE!" She said for snack they had "chocolate pudding!" and "The teacher read a BIG book about Apples, that all the kids could see!" There was more info about her day but I forgot it.. I love how she is very descriptive about her day b/c Luke hardly told me a thing when he went to preschool!

In the afternoon Abby and I snuggled together in my bed and took a long nap! (2 hours! for me! 3 for her!)

Yesterday we saw 2 caterpillars on the driveway. We've seen a total of 3 different kinds just in this week. The kids get so excited about them! I'd like to look these up and identify what kind they are.

Well that's about it. Kids are going down for their "quiet time/play time" and I'm off to take a nap and get these ankles up!
