So Pretty Outside!

I would have stayed outside all day if I could have! It's soooo pretty outside! Abby and I went out this morning and enjoyed the sunshine. The funniest thing happened, we were sitting on the driveway and all these acorns kept falling off the roof. There was a Blue Jay up in the tree knocking them down, they would fall out of the tree, roll down the roof and bounce across the driveway. Abby was running after them like crazy! We were both laughing so hard. There were a few Blue Jays knocking them down.. sometimes 4-5 at at time! Abby got out a bucket and started collecting them. I tried to video it, but of course they would never do it when I had my camera on! When Luke got home we decided to have a picnic lunch on the new play set. But it was short lived b/c the bees started coming after the kids food! :(

I told Abby she can have a prize when she learns to write her name all by herself (w/out looking at anything)... this was her attempt today! She's so close! Still having trouble w/ "B" knowing where to start the "bubble". and "Y". But we'll get there!
