I feel bad that we gave Luke so much extra work w/ his letters, numbers, colors and writing than we have w/ Abby. The few times I have worked w/ her, she lost interest rather quick and just didn't seem to be as motivated as Luke was. I was searching for a good work book at Barnes and Noble the other day to encourage her to work on her ABC's... learning how to write them and learning how to recognize them. I found the perfect book and she's having a blast working on the pages! First she traces a few letters, then she gets to do an ABC "Dot to Dot".. she knows how to sing the alphabet, so she can somewhat follow along, (if she moves fast enough!). I told her she can have a prize when she learns how to write her name... so we're working at it! After school today Abby found a Woolly Bear on the driveway. It was a big beautiful one, (very fast moving!).. the kids laughed and giggled watching it move, and traded turns letting it run over their hands. The poor thing got dropped a few times too many so I had to chase them inside before someone accidentally stepped on the poor thing! But it WAS fun to watch their excitement!

Both kids had school today. I, for once, didn't have any plans, so I got to enjoy myself while the kids were busy. I went to Kohl's and the mall looking for pants that fit me! and a winter coat for Abby. It's been so cold the past few days! Burrrrr!!!
All for now... -Beth
