Splash Harbor

The Mom's Club went to Splash Harbor today. I was lucky enough to have Rich take the day off and help me out w/ the kids. Wow, would I have my hands full w/ everyone going in different directions! Annie did great in the pool, didn't fuss in the cold water at all. She seemed mesmerized by everything that was going on and didn't even ask to eat until way beyond her normal time. It was great to get out of the house today and play w/ the kids, I feel so refreshed by just leaving the house!! Abby loved everything about it. Luke loves the hot tub, but we eventually lured him in to the big pool. He's still not a fan of deep water. I'm worried he's gonna have his big inter-tube when he's 16 still!

We had a rough start to our week w/ me not feeling well and Abby coming down w/ a stomach virus. She got sick twice Tuesday morning. Luckily she recovered fast! (I think!) knock on wood!

Last weekend Mom and Dad came down to see our new rec room, play pool and sleep the night on the new futons. We had a fun little pizza party.

The house is falling apart w/ all this ice and snow melting. We had water running in the house. Rich had to tear off the siding on the porch b/c it was tilted right to the house, soaking through the bricks, and getting our family room carpet wet! then draining down to the basement and soaking the walls. Looks like we're getting a new roof and gutters next! :( Not exactly fun stuff to spend your money on!

well that's all for now. just a quick update before the crew comes out from "room time". I think they are all worn out today from swimming.
