The carpet came today finally!! It's hard to tell the color of the carpet b/c there is a big difference between a flash or no flash... see the difference in the above picture and below picture. But you can get the idea. We were kinda shocked b/c when we held the carpet sample up to the brown trim the colors were very similar, but w/ all the bright lights we have in the basement now, the carpet is much brighter. Tomorrow the pool table is coming! I think that's another all day project in itself! 
Below is part of the desk Ben is building me. The sides of the desk will have this storage, and the top of the desk will be a blue counter top that I can do my crafts on. I'm so excited it's like a dream for me! :)
The cabinet on the left hides the gas meter, and the bottom section is shelving we will use for toys and picture frames. Then the big closet that Rich thinks ALLLL the toys should fit in!
The lighting we picked for over the pool table. We wanted blue shades but they sent us white. They've kinda grown on me, so we decided to keep them! I like how they match the ceiling but stand out on the blue wall.
