Abby went through a stage of not wanting Daddy.. but now she's going through a stage of wanting to cuddle him all the time. she says "I want Youuuuuu Daddy!".. which means, hold me, and snuggle me! She twists and turns trying to find the coziest position.

well I was back off to the doctor to figure out my "issues" today. I think we finally have it all under control. I guess I have something rare. All the Internet info really freaked me out. They noticed that I was so upset I was giving myself high blood pressure today. :(

While I was at the doctor Luke got to play w/ an old friend. I was thankful to find a sitter in short notice.. not an easy thing to do at this time of the year w/ all the sickness going around!

The kids enjoyed driving past Snow Trails today. We stopped and sat in the parking lot for a bit to watch the skiers and snow tubing. Luke said he's scared of the snow tubing. Abby, my lil' dare devil said she wanted to go "right now!" It's so funny to see their personalities come out. We had a friend over tonight who always tickles the kids and roughs them up a bit. Luke always runs and hides from him... tonight he was sending Abby out as his little attack person as he directed her in throwing stuffed animals at our guest to "get him". Sometimes Abby will tell Luke, "it's not scary!! come on!".. it will be interesting to watch this as they grow older b/c down the road it might start to bother Luke? or Abby might start to get shy as she gets older?

I enjoyed dinner out w/ my friend Karen tonight. We each had a "full" day.. so it was great to get away and eat in peace. As I was running out the door I was looking for the sippy cup and bag of to do's.. I seriously do not know how to leave the house w/ out the kids. That's how rare it is for me to get out! ALONE!

I was happy on my arrival to see that Daddy had helped the kids create a huge fort in the hall out of the fort making materials I gave them for Christmas. They actually ate their dinner in here! Unfortunately Mommy made them destroy it at bedtime for fear it was a fire hazard during the night (to block the hall).. those MOMMY'S are always ruining all the good fun, aren't we?!! I was playing w/ my camera taking pictures of Kadie last night. after a while she would squint every time she heard my camera beep in anticipation of the flash. Same thing w/ our washer, every time she sees me load it, she leaves the room, but she'll put up w/ the dryer and stay put. I think she's afraid of the washer b/c of the times she's been locked in the laundry room while it was going, and it got off balance and walked across the room banging and banging.. poor dog is traumatized!! :)
