Well I think I'm finally back to normal!... it's been a LONG month of medicine! ugh! Monday I was in the ER most of the day so Tuesday Mom came up to help out since I was feeling weak, but I recovered quickly so we were able to rest and also have some good times together. The kids and I enjoyed her company. I'm always sad to see her go!

This afternoon the kids and I built a "Yankee's House of Fun" named by Luke! :) For Christmas I secretly made the kids a set of building materials from PVC pipe to surprise the kid with. The pipes are like 10 foot long so it was a trick trying to fit them in my car and get them home, cut them to the right size, and still keep it a secret! I wanted to create something the kids could use their imaginations with to build forts with. Each of the kids has their own "name" panel to slide on to the fort and personalize it a bit. Today we built a for in Luke's room. They are running around finding items to put in his fort that are for sale. The "fun house" just turned in to a Yankee's store! The pipes are really cheep.. it's just the end pieces that can add up!

Today was also Abby's last day of music class. We are saying goodbye to music for a while and moving on to Gymnastics. I'm very excited for our new adventure together! Oh, I wish I could be a kid again! I would love to sign myself up!
.
Not much else going on.. we're just watching this snow and hoping it will accumulate b/c the kids have not had a chance to play in the snow yet this year. Luke is begging me to take him skiing, so hopefully now that I'm feeling better we'll be able to go out together soon. Rich and I are anxious to take a turn riding the tube slides at Snow Trails. I've never done that before! It looks like fun.

well off to get more house work done.. I'm way behind since I've been ill..

PS yeah it snowed enough that we got to play outside tonight!!!! We had sooo much fun. It is getting dark so early we thought we'd have to come right in, but w/ the lights on our house we were able to stay out late. We found some good sledding hills on the side of our yard and in the back. Mommy had awful flashbacks of Luke going over the cliff (on his bike) when his sled went towards the woods a bit. Abby had soooo much fun in the snow this time. She can do so much more then last year b/c she can actually walk in her snowsuit now! It's fun to watch her play! Luke just wanted to throw snowballs at Rich. I didn't get many pictures b/c I was scared our camera would break (like it did last year from the snow).. so I took a few pictures and brought it right back inside.
