Last night I decided that either we're going to have a tree in our house until summer... or I had better figure out a way to get it down myself! Where there is a will, there is a way!!! I used Rich's new limb choppers... (not sure what they are called?!?) and cut most of the branches off the tree, then hauled them out in 4 loads in the kids pool and dumped them in the woods. The tree looked pretty pathetic all bald and chopped up. I decided that getting the biggest tree we could fit in the house wasn't such a good idea after all, if I had to take it down myself! I think we're going to be seeing pine needles for months! By the way these pictures don't do this tree justice. it was over 8 feet wide!

Where there is a will there is a way!
Poor Rich, he didn't feel so good this morning...He said he was in as much pain as he was at the hospital the first night. The kids showered him w/ blankies and animals.. after all that makes it all better doesn't it?!! Abby even gave him her Tinkerbell hat! :) Doesn't he look good in pink!? He'll probably kill me for posting these!!!!
Abby and I headed off to gymnastics b/c we were unable to determine if it was cancled. Luckily the Jeep w/ it's new tires on plows through just about anything. Once there, I assumed no one was around when I couldn't even find the road to the parking lot. Abby and I were both sad b/c we were looking forward to this day. Doesn't she look adorable in her little outfit?! Even Luke's eyes got all big when she came out. He said "WOW!" he liked her shiny stars! :)
Back at home Rich was able to hold down the fort... or should I say "couch"... while I ran a bunch of errands. The GOOD thing about all of this, is I'm am able to run to the store w/ no kids! We just learned to time my outings w/ Abby's potty schedule. I came home today and she had pooped in her baby potty and tried to wipe herself, dump the poop and clean up the mess. There was poop everywhere! and she was running around w/ a little green towel wrapped around her waist. I came home.. cleaned up the poop and continued on my adventures...dropping off Rich's pay checks.. and searching for snow pants for Luke!
While I was out, Rich called to tell me our good friends down the street Mark/Valerie had taken it upon themselves to plow our driveway for us! Which was great b/c Rich certainly can't do it... and it's better that I don't do it.. since I'm still recovering myself. ( I woke up feeling shaky again). And we're expecting 3 computer delivery's today for Rich's side business so it will be nice to be able to use the walkway!
