A Day at the Lake!

We had a really good day together today! We gathered our stuff and went out the door early enough to have a picnic lunch by the lake. The kids were anxious to get in the water and ate quick! !We took the kids to Pleasant Hill Lake. The sand is kinda 1/2 mud and 1/2 sand, but the kids don't mind. It's fairly close to our home and for $6 we sure had a lot of fun!! Abby LOVED the water and squealed w/ delight (see video)

She was a lot braver in the water than Luke. Luke is a land dweller!! He eventually went in. I don't mind that he's cautious b/c it makes my job a lot easier!! :) Even Mommy got in the water w/ my new maternity swim suit. There were only 2 at the store for me to choose from... which was difficult considering I will need lots of room to grow!

isn't she a beauty?!?! :) I love this face!!!! It's so fun to think back when I was a little girl, dreaming about having kids someday. I always wondered what they would look like. I never would have guessed myself to have a blond baby w/ curly hair!
