I finally did it! I spent some time working w/ Abby on her letters. I want her to be writing her name by the time she starts preschool in the fall. She's very capable, I'm kicking myself for not starting w/ her earlier! :( I guess we have a few goals for the summer now that our schedules will clear up a bit! I also need to teach her some very basic stuff like recognizing her numbers and letters. Here were her attempts today! So far "Y" seems to be the most difficult. For Luke it was the "K". At least she has 2 "B's" That helps!!

I woke up feeling very relaxed today. I enjoyed the rain coming down this morning. It somehow releases me to slow myself down too! I think I'm relieved that the tough part of my week has past and now I can look forward to our weekend coming up before it all starts again!! I can't believe we only have a few more days of school! Luke is done next week. He's a little nervous about that b/c he knows the end of preschool means the beginning of Kindergarten. At least we have some sunshine in the middle to give us sometime to adjust to the thought.
