Friday was a full day! Luke went to school, Abby and I stopped by the sale the church at his school was having to see if they had anything worth buying. We did get a pair of shorts for Luke for 50 cents and a pair of pj's for Abby for $1. and a top for a friend for 25 cents! nice prices!! :)

It was a typical afternoon, followed by a long night. Rich and his friend Tim went out for dinner, bowling and a movie. I was glad Rich was able to get out w/ a friend b/c I get to keep in touch with my friends all day long. BUT it does make for a long day for me.... I have learned a trick towards getting through the long nights alone, so I usually plan something special for the kids to make the hours go by faster! I took the kids last night to see "Hotel for Dogs" at the dollar theater. Why is it when you seem to have everything in place, something manages to fall out of place!!... so like a good mom, I had them potty JUST as we went in, so we would not run in to this while in there, w/ our hands full. Abby feel asleep on my lap not long in the movie. Her dead weight was not easy for me to shift around easily, and I'm not supposed to be lifting her! I was trying to figure out how to get her to the car, and decided I would have to wake her. So just as it was ending I tried to wake her up, she was totally out of it... at the same time Luke gave me the panicked look of, I need to go potty NOW!.. so hear I am w/ 2 snack packs, 3 drinks, popcorn and candy, 3 umbrellas, my wallet, my phone, a handful of napkins and a very very sleepy girl. "Mom, I need to go RIGHT NOW!"... he repeated... I kept trying to wake Abby up enough to get her to walk. I decided to leave half my trash on the floor b/c I couldn't carry it all in the rush. We managed to get to the bathroom and out to the car. Poor Abby, the minute I got her in her car seat her head flopped to the side and she was almost out again. Unfortunately I lost my cell phone in the theater! I had to go BACK IN!! Luckily I had a stroller in the back of the car.. back in to the theater, up to the desk proving we were just in w/ tickets, back to the theater.. no cell phone in sight according to the cleaning staff... I thought to ask them to call my phone as I feared I may have thrown it in the trash w/ the napkins... Luckily we were able to find it on the counter top in the bathroom. :) -I thank the man on my phone for helping me find it and head back out to the car. At home, Abby just laid on the floor and played w/ toys. Then everyone went to bed on time for once.. by 7:55!!! :) Mommy crashed about 9pm! only to be awoken by Luke at 12:30pm... and then Abby at 5:30am... no rest for the weary!! :(
