New Dishwasher...and Camping

Thursday night our dishwasher broke... We had someone out to look at it and there was no fixing it. :( so we went out to Menards and picked out a new one. During the night Rich had some problems installing it and a pipe broke and flooded the room below. He was up all night cleaning up the mess. Friday he took off and hired a plumber. Luke was so excited to watch. He carried up his "tools" and shinned the light for the work man. It was cute! Later on Friday afternoon Rich discovered another leak, so the plumber came back out. Saturday Rich had his LAN party... (computer party w/ lots of guys!).. I usually try to get out of here, so I took the kids to Mohican to visit w/ Mamaw and Papaw who were camping at Mohican. We made it JUST in time for the clown show... then we went swimming, or at least the kids did. it was too cold for me!, We sat by the fire, and Luke helped assemble a game Mamaw and Papaw had bought. Then the two kids had fun playing. Abby just kinda kept hitting herself in the head, so she resorted to just nicely hanging them over the bar vs. throwing.. The kids kept me busy, and soon they were begging to go do putt putt (free at camp) so we walked all the way back down, did that and the playground, walked back and had our cookout. Corn and Hamburgers! followed by smores!!! yummmmy!!!! then Abby caught sight of a hayride, and convinced me to take her. Luke passed it up, which is good w/ his hay allergies, I totally forgot about that!! Then Luke wanted to go on the train ride (kids ride at camp) so I took the kids back down again to the main sight where activities are. They had a nice 10 min ride all over camp, in these barrels pulled by a tractor. While standing in line for the train ride the ice-cream truck went by, so the kids were anxious to run back to camp and look for our money. Luckily we were able to catch up with it. But I did more running/walking then I care to on this day -trying to keep everyone happy! We left at sunset, both kids were asleep by the time I got home (40 min). Here are some out of order pictures from our day. I didn't take my camera everywhere this time b/c it was raining a bit.
The lovely spider that crawled up my leg! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhAbby eating her icecreamLuke eating his icecream from the camper doorstep while watching Star Wars. Rich worked on the play set once again. This time he got the attachment for the swings up w/ the help of a friend. He also put up the rock wall stairs and slide. It's starting to look more like the real thing! He still has a good bit of work to to, but it's coming along, slowly but surely!
