We had a busy day today. I had Luke try on a ton of pants today to see what I need to get him for the new school year. He is such a good sport about it. We took 2 full baskets over to the resale shops in town. Both of them had some great buys for Luke. I found him 3 brand new polo shirts, and at the other store I found 2 very nice church shirts..
We joined our friends at the pool today and had a REALLY good time. A bunch of people we knew all happened to be there, so it was a lot of fun. The water was shallow enough that both kids could touch, which made all the difference in the world. Back at home we had a yummy dinner, then headed out to the library and grocery.
Mom and Dad came up over the weekend to hang out, get corn, and see our new playset. We had Luke measured for the Tux he's going to wear in a wedding this summer... and we took Abby to pick out something for her hair.
Rich worked more on the playset. He added the framework for the "rings".. which are still not up b/c we are looking for "green" ones to match the rest of the set. The angled part will have a rope and rocks to climb up when it's finished. The kids enjoyed reading their bedtime stories in the tower Saturday. 
Rich and I had a date last Friday night. We went out to see "The Time Traveler's Wife" we both really enjoyed it. Unfortunately while we were gone the kids and babysitter accidentally got locked outside! Luckily Luke remembered how to get in, and saved the day! :) I was so proud of him!
