Quick update!

I feel bad that I haven't "intentionally" spent much time teaching Luke how to draw. After all I did minor in art! :( I was talking w/ a friend the other day and we decided that our kids would really enjoy the "how to draw" books. I picked this one up at Barnes and Noble last night and was excited to see Luke getting started today! We drew together a bit tonight. (I was looking at the book sideways) so give me a break on my own drawings!.. I also didn't want to "out shine" him too much and discourage him! Here are some of his/our drawings... the top one was one of the first ones he did all by himself. I think it's pretty good for a kid who doesn't really like to draw! The left mouse one is his. I was happy that he decided to add some cheese to his picture.
The left bear is his. He was going pretty quick. I'll have to teach him to slow down a bit!
This is Abby taking her nap yesterday. Luke walked by her room to tell her she was allowed to get up. The kids don't really nap anymore but they do have quiet time in their rooms, often Abby falls asleep in her bed or on the floor. Anyways. Luke came and told me that Abby was asleep, and that she's the cutest sister ever! I went to check on her and found this! :)
I've been working on matching letters for the girls bedroom, I will share Abby's and then share the baby's after we reveal her name! Anyways... Abby likes horses so I made this felt horse and stitched it together to hang up w/ her letters, and I made the baby's pink w/ white trim, and a monkey to hang above the crib.
A few days ago we had 3 deer in the backyard eating apples off the crab apple tree. They were so close to the window!

I went in for my regular OBGYN check up today. Baby is measuring right on target. The news was that I'm still 2 cm dilated and 50% effaced -last time I was "thick". so, my body is slowly preparing for this little one's arrival. They retested me for the UTI, and I had blood work done today, and my Group Strep B test. So hopefully everything will come back ok. They sent me home w/ a free diaper bag and a bunch of freebies. I was irritated that the "breastfeeding kit" they sent me home w/ was filled w/ bottles of formula! Here I was all excited that this "kit" was going to be helpful for a breastfeeding mother! and here it's practically encouraging me to give up before I even try! I'm so frustrated by the little support I receive in this area. With Luke the hospital forced him to have a bottle b/c he wasn't peeing enough for their schedule... well how is he supposed to pee a ton if the mom's milk takes 3 days to come in?!? Seriously?! isn't this the way God designed it?!? I felt lucky w/ Abby to have had my milk come in so quick so they didn't force bottles on her!

Well that's about it.. I've had a pretty slow day. I felt achy and tired. Took a nap and laid around a lot.
