Gymnastics and Easter Egg Hunt

Here is Abby doing Luke's famous "eye wink" :) she was so cute at gymnastics today. She mastered her forward roll and needed no help remembering all the steps of "start position" , bend, tuck, and "finish position". She loved doing this over and over!

Luke stayed on the side-lines and cheered for Abby. All on his own he decided he would make a sign to hold up that says "Go-Abby!" :) when it was Abby's turn he would hold up his sign! I'm so proud of him for encouraging her. On the way over he gives her his little "Pep" talk.. saying Abby, now your going to do your best right? your going to do 100%? it's so cute! I'm so glad for this to be HER own thing that we can support her through. I think it makes her feel really special! After all she spent plenty of hours on the side lines watching Luke do his thing... it seems only fair! :) Abby has a gymnastics recital coming up. I'm really excited about this b/c I think she'll be the smallest one there! :) We'll see. Today they told me to come for professional pictures w/ the team on Friday. They all have matching clothes to wear too! Then we were off to another Easter Egg Hunt at the carousel. I was feeling a little "over-done" w/ my eggs!... but we decided it's so fun to watch the kids race around and pick up eggs that we would let them enjoy this day. They are only young for a little time! The kids were divided by age.. Abby was in the 2-4 group. And Luke had advanced to the age 5-7 group. Kinda a bummer to have to split up and not be able to watch them both. I stayed w/ Abby. She was racing around like crazy picking up eggs. Abby w/ her over-abundance of Eggs! When we met up w/ Rich and Luke.. Luke's eyes got HUGE.. and he said WOW Abby you got a ton! Luke, being at the bottom of his age division.. (and spilling his basket twice)... he didn't have as great a find as Abby did. Abby was very willing to share her eggs w/ Luke. I was so proud of her. I've got GOOD kids! :) Luke giving his sister an " I love you hug". Thankful that she was so willing so share. And Abby smiling.. knowing that she made him happy. After the egg hunt we couldn't resist a trip to our favorite "Coney Island" :)

The kids did a good job w/ their lunches... and we all got a special treat of ice cream after! ummmmm. They have the BEST ice-cream. My favorite is "cappuccino crunch". Luke got "Cookie Dough" and Abby got "Superman". Rich confessed w/ a smirk on his face that he's been to Coney Island on lunch in the past few weeks...so he passed on ice-cream this time.

PS I updated below on the past few days... I have been so exhausted that I haven't taken time to write. Feel free to skim back over our last few days...
