oh what a day!!!!!! actually it wasn't "THAT BAD" Abby just thought it was! She had her arm up and ready to throw something at Luke when he said "Abby you better not throw that at me" she followed through...and hit him in the head w/ a Lego. So she got to sit on the time out chair for a few minutes. You would have thought her world had come to an end!! The part that really made her mad was when she heard Luke start a movie in the other room w/ out her. Then she really cranked it up... and I grabbed the camera. Life isn't always a pretty picture... so I've learned the last few months! an apology and hug for Luke who was smiling away at the TV and not really paying attention to her. oh well!
a little bit later we took care of that noise once and for all! JUST KIDDING! I did this like 2 hours after the fact, and it's "staged" for my "Q" QUIET!" picture!... she knew it was a joke and there is tissue paper under the tape so it doesn't hurt her face!) but seriously how many days do you actually wish you could do this!! :) before long they were back at it, best buddies! I got a mini trampoline today from Walmart for $35!!! it's really nice! It came w/ a DVD, resistance bands for strength training and a counter to keep track of your jumps and calories burned. Luke had a blast jumping away on it after school. He got up to 1286? I think?!? what a GREAT way to burn off some of that energy during the winter!
"bounce bounce bounce"
Then they were off and running... playing a new game called "Secret spies" according to Luke! the sweet thing is he says it like this..."Sneacret spies"... nobody wants to correct him b/c it's so darn cute!
just a cool picture of a quarter I took today for our alphabet challenge. today is "Q".

and Luke's "Q" quiz... he brought home the other day. I've been very sad about Luke heading to Kindergarten next year. I'm so happy w/ his school this year and how they continue to challenge him w/ extra work. I'm worried they will focus on the kids who don't know their letters or how to spell their names yet and ignore the kids who already mastered that stuff. :(

The good news is today I turned in the papers for Abby to attend preschool next year. She's so excited!! Every time she pulls her pants up by herself she talks about how she's going to school (b/c that's one of the requirements). I'm just hoping and praying she gets the teachers Luke did b/c I've enjoyed getting to know them and I think they do a great job! Not to say the others don't.. I'm just comfortable w/ what I know!

the kids are quiet and I think they might have actually gone down for their naps! both of them! b/c Luke is always popping his head around the door at 4:00 on the dot! and it's already 4:09. Which means they will sleep late and be up late but they haven't seen Rich much and sometimes it's fun to keep them up late Friday night and play games ect...together.
