Luke got in trouble at school today for talking too much.. so he got a "worm".. the teacher met me at the door and told me he was very unhappy w/ her. (which came through in the car on the way home!) anyways I thanked her for taking care of the situation and took off. Luke lost "Legos" for a day b/c of his behavior and not obeying the teacher so he decided he would protest school tomorrow.. and said he's not going! .. actually he's not.. tomorrow is parent teacher confrences.. (not so great to get a worm the day before parent teacher confrences!)

so w/ no Lego's came a bit of creativity.. He asked if I would build him a pirate ship.. so to the best of my ability w/ the blankets and PVC pipes. I created this.. :) (see below!) the kids had a blast playing pirates.. finding treasure and pretending to be mean and scary.

Well Abby's got the poo's now! but she's managed to get to the potty much better then big brother! she hasn't had an accident yet!

Rich and I are going away to the "Weekend to Remember" marriage confrence this weekend. It was a last minute decision, and everything just happened to fall in to place! I'm just hoping the kids can get over their issues so that Eema and Bappa don't have to deal w/ it while we're gone! I'm excited about our adventure away but at the same time I'm nervous b/c some of the issues the confrence addresses are not always fun to talk about! Saturday night we're anxious to go on our "Date night" we're already looking for a great meal and fun activity near our hotel.
