Rich took the kids to choir babysitting last night. It was wonderful to have 2 hours of peace and quiet in the house ALL alone! Last night I read more from my book "Women Who Think To Much!". I was having an "over-analizing sort of day. I tend to view every comment or suggestion from people in a million different angles, starting at which ever angle I can "take personally" and then trying to convince myself otherwise.. :( it's a very bad habit I have, one I would like to free myself from. :( Last nightI finally got to the "tools" for changing bad habits. Some of which I'm anxious to implement.
Every night when I slip in to bed, I feel like I'm stepping in to the self help aisle in the book store! I have an assortment of devotionals and "self help" books that I read from, depending on the day. Instead of reading one all the way through one book, I tend to work on bits and pieces at a time.. Some of typical grabs are "The Five Love Languages of Children". "The Guilt Free Journal" " School Starts at Home" "Making Children Mind without Losing Yours!" "Romancing Your Husband" "The Mommy Diaries" and "Supernanny, How to Get the Best from Your Children". I was laughing last night at myself thinking that anyone could probably guess what kind of day I had based on which book was left open beside my bed!
Luke had his Valentines party at school today. All the kids were dressed in pink and red and bouncing off the walls in excitement from an overload on candy!! Luke had frosting alll over his cute vest and pants. Evidence of pure fun! and an enjoyable day! ;) -Beth
