NOV 1st 2008 KINGS ISLAND one last time!

Yesterday we used up our tickets to Kings Island. At the beginning of the year we bought them and got buy 1 get 1 free. Only problem was finding a 2nd time to go back and use up our tickets. We were trying to wait till Abby grew, so she could ride more rides. Abby has been talking about growing all summer so that she could ride the swings and other rides. We had her measured and she BARELY made the cut off but she got her wristband that stated she was 36" or taller... :) YEAH!!!! it made our day!!! And Abby's too!!!!! we went straight to the swings. She was sooooooooo proud to be able to ride. The girl is FEARLESS... you should see her on rides. She comforts Luke! and tells him..."it's not scary.. it's fun!" YEAH. I finally get to claim that one of the kids is like me! :)

Rich took Luke on the "Beastie" it has a new name now, but I like the old name.Rich and I enjoyed riding some rides as well. Like the Beast, the Son of the Beast, The Crypt...to name a few. The lines were so short we'd get in line w/ the kids then one of us would go while the other one would watch the kids, then we passed the kids thru the rides and traded off. We bought them huge lollipops to pass the time while we rode. They were a big hit.

This was one of the special halloween weekends so they had all this smoke and scary guys running around after 7pm. :( We left pretty quick b/c we were tired for one...(we got right on most of the rides all day). and the kids were worried about all the commotion. Abby announced in the car that she wasn't scared of the bad guys and that "Big Daddy would scare them away w/ his light saber." :) it was so funny! We got home about 10:30? It was a good day and we had BEAUTIFUL weather.. .we were actually HOT! all for now.... -Beth

Abby was awake all the way home.. probably thinking about all the fun she had!
