This morning after church I picked up a Peppermint Mocha at Kroger. Abby was leaning on the counter watching us slow dance to Christmas music! :) she looked so cute w/ her sweater by the Mocha... soon she was interested in taking a sip...

Later today I got working on my pinecone craft for Thanksgiving. It has not been easy trying to gather the materials in the right size. Martha Stewart makes it look so easy!!! Here are photos from the magazine and my finished samples. I forgot to take a picture of the mouse. I love the Penguin..he's my favorite. I think maybe we'll turn the mouse into an ornament to remember my Grandma. We called her Grandma Mouse...

My favorite!! isn't he cute!?!?!! my snow turned out to have colors in it..I don't like it, so I tried to brush it off. I'll have to come up w/ something else. The penguin is supposed to be sitting on a mirror. but it's too expensive to purchase one for everyone.. so I settled for glittery felt.
This picture below was taken the other day.. the funny thing is I was just reading a friends blog a few days earlier about how her daughter was not in her bed when she went to check on her during nap time. She ended up finding her under the bed. Well I freaked out b/c I couldn't find Luke the other day.. turns out he was in the closet sleeping on the floor w/ the door closed all the way! And his room door opens up into the closet so it was like he was behind 2 doors.
Lastly, I took this picture a few days ago at sunset.. the sun looked so pretty coming thru the trees. Excuse our picnic table turned on it's side. My hubby was raking leaves out from under it and never put it back down!-Beth
