ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

when it rains it pours! :( I took Abby to music class today. When I was leaving I noticed a parking ticket on my car. I've NEVER gotten a parking ticket before, I couldn't for the life of me figure out why I was getting one b/c I always put money in the meter. I checked the time... it was still working and still had time left. The ticket states "front of vehical not nearest meter". UGH! I could just scream. I never knew that you had to park w/ the front of your car lined up to the meter.I always parked w/ the meter beside my car. When was I supposed to learn that anyways???? back when I was 16? in driving class I assume?! ugh! so I took the kids to the police station and tried to contest it. I was so embarressed b/c I just lost it when the lady told me that the man I needed to talk to was not in! (I had 24 hours to file my complaint)......she asked what happened. I started telling her, and showed these cell phone pictures thru the window and bars... she couldn't believe her eyes. She came out gave me a hug... and knocked on the door that she just told me no-one was in... and talked to the cop. He agreed to drop the charges...probably b/c I broke down crying I was so upset about yesterday that it was just the final straw! A $5 ticket is not that big of a deal but when you PAID your dues... and just made a mistake how about a friendly reminder instead of a fine! He said that lady who wrote the ticket did take note that I had put money in THAT meter... so they let me go.

Tonight I have to teach my lesson for Adventure Club. I didn't think I was going to be able to pull it together w/ my bad days... but somebody or somebodies.. must have been praying for me b/c I feel much better and was able to prepare my lesson.

Thanks for all the thoughts and concern everyone showed me today. Luke is doing fine, aside from a headache when he moves. I spoke w/ Dr. Fain. We will do a scan if his condition worstens...for now he's doing very well. He just HAD to go to school today b/c it was Hannah's birthday! and he had made a special card for her.
