We're enjoying our day home to catch up. I admit that I've let the kids do whatever they wanted w/ in reason! Kids are so funny. Luke announces at the breakfast table w/ tears practically rolling down his cheeks "Mom, how come all the peoples rooms are decorated for Thanksgiving accept mine" meaning... we have decorations around the house but not in his room. He was very serious about this! I've been wanting to hang some leaves around that had things we're thankful on them so this was the perfect time to get started. I cut out some pumpkins and leaves and Luke got busy writing things he was thankful for on each one. I ended up using some leftover pinecones that were the wrong size for another project.
