Can you guess what this little puppy is doing?....

Abby was fussing b/c she wanted a magazine to look at. I reached for one of these on the ground and Luke informed me that they were already "in use"... b/c his puppies were deciding what they want for Christmas! :)

The kids were having a picnic together w/ their animals... see below. Sometimes the two play together really well. And the funny thing is, it usually happens after they've pestered me and pestered me and finally given up... it's like they give in and decide hey, were in this together.. and neither of us has Mommy to play w/ right now so we might as well play together! Once they get started.. they can play together for hours :) (I was finishing up my Christmas cards!)

it's just one of those Saturdays where you catch up on stuff that needs to be done.. I'm enjoying having Rich home for once!!

Last night Rich was working late so I took the kids to the movies alone to see Madagascar. The roads were pretty slick! I was kinda scared to drive out to Ontario but we did ok.We got a huge tub of popcorn, and 1 large drink, which we all shared, hoping we didn't pass any germs!! I spilled the popcorn everywhere about 10 min into the movie and lost 1/2 of. :( I was so mad at myself. The kids enjoyed our little outing. They both got in to the song when they sang "I like to move it move it!" it was funny!

We went to the Herlihy Christmas house tonight. It's been a tradition for the past few years. This year Luke remembered that Santa was there last year so he was a little nervous.. but Santa was not there... The Herlihy house has tons of ornaments and Christmas decorations. There are all different themed trees. Luke's favorite was the "Green" tree. My favorite was the Hallmark tree!! espeically the popcorn popper ornament!! The kids both enjoyed the HUGE tree. but it was so bright, I couldn't even look at it. They also enjoyed the huge train set. When we left we were offered cookies and punch and a candy cane. The kids were loving that! Here are a few photos.

And yes, I was outside trying to take pictures of the snow today! Rich saw the footprints going out to the backyard today.. he says "did you go out there? I said yes.. he said to do what? I said to take pictures of the snow!" beauty is in the eye of the beholder right?!?! :) I like how the light looks on the snow in the early morning.
