Rich and Luke sing at church!

(Written Monday for SUNDAY)

we got home last last night and rushed to bed b/c we had to get up early for the Christmas program at church. Rich was singing in the choir and also had a special part this year singing a solo/duet... He did really good. It's been a while since I've heard him. I enjoyed every minute of it!! :) The kids were able to sit in the front row w/ me 2nd service and listen to Daddy. I got it on tape, I THINK. I can provide a link to his song... let me see..try clicking on this below...

We came back to our house for KFC.. Luke was so cute. He asked my Mom (named "Ee-ma" by Luke as a baby) if she would snuggle with him. She wasn't quite sure what he meant, but soon enough he showed her.. he got out some pillows, an animal for everyone to hold and his Yankee's blanky! It's the sweet little moments like these that make me forget all about his non-stop wiggling through the church service... or his "shooting" games he insists on playing that I can't stand! :) Abby snuggled up on her own pillow and blanket..It was a good day to snuggle! brrrrrr. My car read -1 last night! plus a wind chill. WITH the wind chill it said it felt like -23 last night!

Then at night Luke had HIS Christmas performance at church. I was too busy taking videos of him to snap a picture, but I did snap this one really quick.
The older kids put on their own performance after the preschoolers. I loved these cute camels someone made up! You could see the kids faces poking out from the holes! :) They were in there quite a while, I wonder how hot it got? After the performance we celebrated Jesus's birthday w/ cake and icecream. Peppermint Icecream!! ummmmmmmm! :) all for now.... -Beth

check back soon for video clips from this performance....
