This is the picture I took today for the 30 day challenge I'm working on. I saw the berries out the window when I was doing laundry. I liked the fresh dusting of snow they had on them!Today we took Luke to school then headed off to the post office for stamps. Christmas cards are expensive to send these days! Then Abby and I stopped at Aspen for a little together time.. we shared a bagel and headed back home. Before to long we were off and running to music class. I did not realize that many schools in the area were closed today! when I got out of my car it was super icy on the edge of the road. Music class was full of all the kids who had no school today. Off and running to get Luke from preschool. Luke told me they practiced again for the school play. He's very excited about it. I hope that he's just as excited tomorrow when he walks in and sees all the people! I get to help volunteer tomorrow so hopefully that will help calm his nerves a bit. I'm excited that my parents and Rich's parents are going to be able to be there. Christmas programs have always been those "Hallmark" moments for me. I can hardly stay in my seat... and I shake all over w/ excitement. Last year I had to pass the camera to Rich b/c I couldn't even hold it steady! :)

this is another picture I'm using for the challenge.. it's our Christmas cards finally going out in the mail today! the neighbors must think I'm crazy taking pictures of my own mailbox!

unfortunatly this picture turned sideways.. I still can't figure out why my pictures randomly do this?!?! Luke drew this picture of "Darth Vator" the other day.. :)

Lastly these pictures were taken last night at the Barnes and Noble Bookstore. The kids wore their PJ's to listen to the Polar Express story. They were surprised by a visit from Santa! Luke was actually trembling in his seat! I was suprised I was able to even get his picture of him w/ Santa! When we were in the car on the way home he told me "Mom, this is a night I want to always remember!" it was so sweet! I'm surprised he hasn't noticed a difference in the "Santas" he's seen. This one wasn't very pudgy! ;)

Kids w/ Santa
kids working on their craft when Santa surprised them.. he came in ringing a bell.
Miss Mary reading the Polar Express.
I worked at Adventure Club tonight. We used my baby Jesus manger craft for the kids tonight. IT was pretty crazy! Luke and Abby went w/ me tonight b/c Rich had to work. Luke was super wound up.. I was kinda feeling bad for his teachers b/c they had like 21 kids!!! After the parents got their kids, I ran up to get Abby, she was the last one.. there were 6 teachers with just Abby. Gesh.. they should have sent some extra hands down to my room!! Well I raced home, bathed the kids.. and got them to bed in an hour for school tomorrow. Lots to do!! -Beth
