My lil' sweetie pie! :) Abby and I had some nice time at home today. Rich was able to go into school to volunteer for an hour today which was great. I was anxious for him to see how organized the teachers are and how well behaved the kids are! He got to sit at the table and be in charge of the gingerbread men. The kids would decorate them (paper craft) and he asked them where their gingerbread would run to if he was running away!

At home I found a miniute to snap 2 pictures for my 30 day challenge w/ an online group of girls I keep in touch with. The challenge this month is to take a picture a day and then scrap all of them together in a 2 page layout at the end of the month. You can take pictures of whatever you want.. of course I like to stick to a theme.. so I picked a winter theme for my pictures. This one below turned sideways for some reason... silly computer!....

This one is a close up or our lights on the back porch. I was practicing using the close up feature on our new camera! The kids went down for their nap fairly well today. Luke did want to bend the rules today.. he said Abby wanted to sleep in his bed. HA... and they promised they would go to sleep!!! HA HA... we've been there before!! no way kiddos!! at least not today! so then the next question is WHEN??? When Mom? and he'll hold me to it!!!!! I sent them off to their own rooms and enjoyed standing outside Luke's door listening to him sing from his hymn book.. he was going through picking all the Christmas songs and singing them. It was so sweet!! :) He's very excited about the songs they are singing for the church Christmas program. He's been singing us little parts here and there when he thinks of it. Yesterday he drew a candy cane and then showed me how he could flip it over and turn it in a a "J" just like ones of the songs says.

well I have lots of housework to catch up on.. I've been under the weather w/ 2 huge canker sores.... mine get really bad.. my mouth and teeth are all hot where the sore is. I called the dentist yesterday trying to get some meds of some sort before it gets even worse. :(
