What a busy day.. I set my alarm today which is a rare thing.. usually the kids wake us up so we don't have to set our alarms! I had to get off to a dentist appointment at 8:25!! the juggling act was getting Luke a ride to school and taking Abby w/ me to the dentist office. A friend was able to drive Luke for me, and Abby sat like an angel at the dentist office for my whole appointment. I was so proud of her. She had her little bag of stuff to do and she just kept getting things out and hardly made a peep.

After the dentist we rushed off to Abby's playgroup Chrstimas party. I've been trying to keep up w/ certain activities that Luke enjoyed, and allow Abby to have the same experiences. This is Abby's group of friends. They all brought a small gift to exchange.
It was so sweet watching them give each other gifts. Heather brought the makings for these cute little reindeer hats we did years ago for the big kids. 
We attempted to get the kids to sit for a picture.. well half of them stayed! :) One of the girls has a 2 or 3? yr old? and twins!!! The babies are so cute!
I had fun helping out w/ them. Makes me miss the baby stage... or at least some parts of it! :)

Abby and I left the party to get Luke from school Luke was having his "Polar Express" day at school. The kids wore their pj's and many of the activities centered around this theme. When I picked him up he had a big chocolate mustache from hot chocolate :) he even had some on his head. Here is a picture of some of the leftovers! :) 
He came out of class w/ a big smile on his face. I'm glad he had such a good time. He was literally jumping w/ joy! :) Abby has seen Luke's excitment over preschool and can't wait to go herself! She is very jealous over the things he brings home. I keep telling her that her turn is soon coming! She's been practicing pulling up her own pants for school someday.. since she has started to master the task.. she thinks she's allowed to go to school NOW!
