Well today was the big day! Luke's preschool class had their Christmas Performance today. I got to volunteer and see what goes on behind the scenes a little bit. Mom and Dad came up and watched Abby for a bit... then drove to school to sit in line forever waiting to get in to watch us. Everyone lines up 45 minutes early to get a good seat. I was very lucky Mom and Dad were willing to get there early and sit w/ Abby so they could save me a seat on the aisle! Luke did awesome.. he was the first kid to walk in. His face got a little red, but he did really well and wasn't too nervous! Up front he looked very relaxed. Here are some pictures from the performance.
I took this one when he was lined up waiting to go in.
another one all lined up waiting to go in w/ the 3 wise men behind him! :)
Luke and Laurel (Mary and Joseph) w/ out their hoods on.

after the play. We ate cookies and headed home. Once home Mom watched the kids for me and Dad and I went out to lunch together. It was so nice to get away and eat in peace! :) Then we headed to the bike trail in Lexington. Dad was interested in seeing the place where Luke fell off his bike. Back home for nap time... then we woke up 2 very sleepy kids and headed to the fair grounds for the Christmas Wunderland. I prefer to go when the snow is on the ground, but Mom and Dad were up, so we all piled in one car for $8... and went together. Rich rushed off for choir and the rest of us grabbed a pizza and came home. We're anxiously watching the weather to see what happens for school tomorrow. Looks like it may be canceled due to bad weather?! Tomorrow the kids have another Christmas concert. Thursday is for the 2 day class and Friday is for the 3 day class. Since Luke is in 5 day he sings both days. Tomorrow he's supposed to just dress up in his Christmas sweater vs. dressing like Joseph. I hope he gets to go, but if not at least he was able to sing today. All for now.. I'm beat so I kinda typed whatever and rushed through writing this....
