Catch a leaf...

Burr.. it's cold out! I get cold so easliy, so I don't like to be out in the cold unless I'm covered well and downhill skiing! The kids talked me in to going out for a bit today. I worked on blowing the leaves in the backyard while they ran around. Abby thought up a game where she would try to catch the leaves falling when the wind blew..it was so cute to see her standing there w/ her net as one or two leaves would fall. Luke caught on and got a bucket. He was racing around like crazy giggling as the leaves fell near his bucket. Oh to be a kid again.... they find so much enjoyment out of the smallest things.

we were not the only ones collecting leaves today. This groundhog was busy collecting leaves as well. He lives out back under our swing. We see him often. I think we should name him!I've been working on a costume for Abby for MOPS. They said they are going to parade the kids around at the end of the meeting. I have a horse costume for her that she hates, and it's way to hot so I tried to come up w/ something w/ materials we had here at home. It's not the safest costume. as I used quite a few staples in the wings to put it all together, but hopefully it will "fly" for one day.

Luke brought home pictures from two girls today.. These ones here are from Hannah, her mom said she rushed to give them to him right away. He's a ladies man what can I say!? :) It will be interesting to see if he starts drawing her pictures too like he did w/ Kylie.
