Soccer Trophy

Well another season of soccer is completed. Luke really enjoys soccer. He does a great job of listening to his coach and following instructions. He's so funny how he rushes back to the coach and practically stands on her toes waiting for the next "command". Rich and I joke that he is "reporting for duty!". He's definitly ready to move on to a more challenging level, so next year we're thinking about signing him up with Lexington. He's so funny he received his trophy today and the first words out of his mouth were.. "HEY it doesn't spin!" the last trophy was really cool and the ball would spin. :) The kids enjoyed their cupcakes and we attempted to take a picture of all of them together.

Well lots of yard work to be done, so I better make this short... We got a head start on the leaves earier today. It was really cold! Abby tried to talk me in to letting her play in the sand, and wasn't very happy w/ my answer. Lastly here is a really cute shot I got of Luke under his bedside table.. Isn't he adorable!?!? I just want to squeeze those cheeks!! :)We managed to get a ton of yard work done tonight. The kids had a blast sliding down the slide into a pile of leaves and swinging into them. It ws lots of fun until Mommy found a SNAKE! under the leaves... it was almost an inch in diameter!! w/ stripes...it was very still and not moving... I screamed really loud.. Rich was on the roof raking leaves down. He hurried down to catch it. I thought it was dead.. and told him to just throw it over the cliff, but he was worried about it getting away and cut it's head off.. :(O it was really really gross. I had to run away and not look back. Kinda felt bad for the snake but it was RIGHT where the kids were playing, which is scary!
