Burrrr.... it's cold today! I'm so sad to see the warm weather leave. It's such a pain to bundle the kids up and deal w/ their car seats. Luke is such a complainer when it comes to wearing a poofy coat in the car. The only good thing about a winter coat is he got to wear his Yankee's coat today! His teacher just happened to be wearing the Indians, which always stirs him up! He's so funny, he'll bend down and give anyone the "eye" who's wearing Indians. He already told me he wants to head back and see Mrs. Turner from last year, and get something started... about Yankees/Indians. She always plays his game. ;)

Well Abby really through me for a loop this morning... last night she was totally fine.. (see us together in our matching heart pj's)

then this morning she was just laying around which was not like her. (don't worry, that's the first bottle she's had in a year. I gave it to her b/c she wanted a yogurt and the lids screw on nice and don't spill when she's laying in my bed!)
I was sure she was starting to get the "strep" bug from me. But now she's back to her normal self, running away when I'm trying to get her dressed! We're headed off to music class soon. Abby just LOVES having her Mama and Me time. I think we will forever hear her happy squeal in our ears as she says "mugi-class" over and over while stepping high on her tip-toes w/ excitement!

Well "mugi-class" was a success. Abby loves "sticks".. she's a real joy to take b/c she just sits on my lap and follows all the rules. A lot of the kids were all over the room running this way and that way. It was really crazy today. I miss Dorothy.. she was really good about making everyone pay attention (which helps us get more out of the class instead of watching the parade!).

Luke had a good day at school. He was anxious to show his Yankee's coat to Mrs. Turner down the hall. She loved on him and gave him kisses all over. He was eating that up! He went home and made her a card right away. Even Abby made her a picture. It was sweet. I hope Abby gets Mrs. Turner next year!

We ran an errand for Mamaw and Papa... now the kids are in bed. Time to kick up my heals for a minute before we're off to soccer, and Adventure Club. Busy busy busy!

well I'm beat.... Rich took the kids to Mamaw and Papas b/c Luke stole 10 cents from Mamaw and had to return it and learn a lesson!!! I headed off to Adventure Club. I'm liking it more and more. It really surprises me. At first I thought it was going to be something I dreaded and kinda only did b/c I wanted to help out. But each week, I'm learning more and more and feeling more confident as I work w/ the kids. I guess I also enjoy doing something outside of the house and feeling needed and useful. I'm already working on next weeks lesson and wondering what I can do to make it fun for the kids. I hope I continue to really enjoy it all year. Well off to bed... it's been a long long day. I'm kinda frusterated b/c we have a playgroup get together tomorrow.. really it's not high up on my list of to do's... we've been running all week, I'd like to crash here for a bit. But whenever I explain that to my friends, I think they think I'm not interested or giving excuses for why I can't come. I always worry what everyone else thinks... :( -Beth
